Carpetright is Europe’s leading floor and bed retailer. Having the opportunity to work on their platform for their new website was a big responsibility.

I worked with Carpetright to help with their online presence and to help bring their online and offline brand inline together. Working at Carpetright as their sole designer required to bring their brand up to date and online. I had the responsibility to work on a wide variety of digital design elements such as designing email marketing material, promotional banners and affiliate banners. I also worked alongside the marketing team and made sure all of the messaging was correctly transferred from offline to online.

Redesigning Carpetright’s website was the biggest responsibility as there was no UX team involved. The product owner and I had to put together our research and solutions required for customers to have the ability to navigate and make purchases with ease. I created user personas, sketches and led stakeholder meetings with the head of digital to show them my research. We created a new modern website which required to work with an outsourced development team based in Prague. The main goal was to be able to produce a website that would give users enough information and be able to guide them through their user journey to help convert purchases.
